High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Prior Busser position experience with our company or full-service restaurant background preferred.

Complete all expo training processes. Take all necessary tests and complete a training checklist to reflect your training efforts.
Study menu to have 90% menu and ticket item recognition by end of training process.
Must be able to accurately tray up and deliver meals to the correct tables. Able to correctly serve menu items directly to a guest table, after proper training.
Verify food quality and presentation before it is presented to our guest. Hot plates for hot food, cold plates for cold food, recipes followed and plate presentation executed. Review “Middle Line Person” first, then speak with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Line Supervisor to replace food items, if necessary. Remember, quality wins every argument.
Confirm the frame of the plate is clean and all garnish work presentation per standard.
If the server is not there, serve the food to our guests according to seat positions and order sequence.
Keep your area clean, organized and stocked with dishes and utensils. Keep floor swept at all times.
Process other support activities as time permits, such as refilling ice bins or brewing coffee and iced tea.
Relay any server ticket information changes and special instructions to the line coordinator in an efficient and comprehendible manner.
Maintain proper tabletop appearance and presentation standards.
File the shift set up and closing duties as posted and assigned. Check with manager to end shift.
Follow the cleaning check lists to maintain the expo area is in good repair and for cleanliness. Verify all equipment in good clean working condition.
Maintain an efficient and professional dining room by insuring quality service and hospitality standards. Deliver guest room service orders.
Report to management any restrooms or public areas that are not properly maintained and checked during each shift.
Assist with server training programs. You will be expected to work with and help new servers to understand menu and entrée standards.
Ability to read, speak and write basic English, being able to read tickets and to communicate with customers, managers and other employees.
Ability to exercise good judgment.
Possess multi-tasking skills.
Knowledge of food and beverage menus, food preparation and presentation.
Follow detailed instructions with minimal supervision, at times.
Communicate customer needs and complaints to management.
Possess basic computational ability.
Possess basic computer skills to be able to use POS system when necessary.
