Oggies Sports Bar receives another excellent review!

Our wait staff was very accommodating and efficient.  We perused the very interesting, complete. and reasonably priced menu, deciding to split a Reuben (Spork had raved how huge it was the first time he ate there over a year ago) AND we noticed our very favorite dessert on the menu, and wanted to save room for this treat.

The Reuben, moist and juicy, served on a very nice marbled rye with plenty of kraut, was delicious, but not as huge as Spork had reported. The sauce was great!  We chose a side of the best onion rings we have had in the Dakotas (alas only four or five), real onions, large, thick slices, succulent, but a bit on the greasy side.

Then the coup de gras – Caramel Apple Bread Pudding -WOW!!  It was a very generous helping of the best bread pudding in the world, topped with apples and a fabulous caramel sauce with a side of whipped cream.  We savored every bite and would have licked the plate clean, but people were watching!

It is worth the drive to Deadwood just for the dessert.  We shall return!!
