PIERRE,S.D.– After a shortage of snow this winter, a South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks official says snowmobiling in the Black Hills is in full swing. Two to two-and-a-half feet of snow fell in the Black Hills in the last 10 days, and snowmobile trails are in excellent condition, said District Park Supervisor Shannon Percy, who manages all GFP snowmobile trails in the Black Hills.
